The grand house where Max and Dani go trick-or-treating expecting to bob-for-apples, and where Dani teases Max with the "Yabbos" line.

Phillips School (Jacob Bailey High School) — Near Salem Common. 

The building where the Sanderson Sisters chase the kids through the halls, only to rise again after being "burned" inside.

Salem Common — Downtown

The park backing many of the film's outdoor scenes, including the moment Allison hands Max back his own phone number.

Old Town Hall — 32 Derby Square. 

Site of the Halloween party where Winifred puts the whole town under her spell during her rendition of "I Put a Spell on You."

Max and Dani's House — 4 Ocean Avenue.

 The Dennison family home, tower bedroom and all. This is a private residence, so we view it from the trolley.

Pioneer Village — Forest River Park. 

This 17th-century recreation stood in for the opening scenes and Thackery Binx's original home, three hundred years before Max ever lit the Black Flame Candle.

Old Burial Hill Cemetery — Marblehead 

One of New England's oldest burial grounds, and the spot where Max gets bullied and loses his sneakers biking home from school.
